WAR ON TERROR 2!





Atentado en la embajada estadounidense de Yemen lasemana pasada. Si, claro! A medida que se acerquen las elecciones norteamericanas, los terroristas saldrán de sus sucias cuevas en Afganistán (o Irán, Cuba,Venezuela, la Death Star, el planeta Mongo, etc) para recordarles a los votantes el peligro que corren. A los terroristas les gustan los republicanos en el poder. Quieren una vicepresidenta que mate ciervos a escopetazos por diversión. Por eso temo por la integridad del hermoso edificio Chrysler en Nueva York. Quizás los terroristas podrían elegir alguna otra cuidad esta vez. No me malentiendan: preferiría que no hubiese ataque alguno. Pero entiendo que McCain posiblemente necesite un empujoncito para llegar.

Perhaps terrorist may choose some other city this time. Don't missunderstand me: I'd rather have no attack at all. But i understand that McCain will probably need a little push to make it.

Zalo: Doug Balthus es un tipo que se ha hundido, como la chica en la canción de Dylan. Es arrastrado por las circunstancias, casi sin poder de decisión. A la deriva. Like a rolling Stone.

Zalo: Me gustan los finales felices, pero Doug tuvo mala suerte. Estaba enfermo, irradiado, perseguido, equivocado y sin un brazo: no podía acabar bien.

Kurt Morissens (www.stripelmagazine.be): Why did you choose a title as 'Like a rolling stone'? I tried to look for the connection between your comic and the song of Bob Dylan but couldn't find any...
Zalo: Doug Balthus is a guy who has sunk, just as the girl in Dylan’s song. He’s being dragged by circumstances, almost with no willpower. Drifting away...like a rolling stone.

Zalo: I like happy endings, but Doug had tough luck. He was sick, irradiated, hunted, wrong and without an arm: it couldn’t end well.
